The block of wood stool consists of a tribe of mountain Maple which is dried, planed and sanded. If you prefer, the stool can be oiled by us to protect it from environmental influences. The stool has four felt pads and is suitable for tile, parquet and laminate floors, as for carpets. Our stool in typical block shape consists of 100% solid wood. Each stool has its individual grain with natural cracks and knots. The core has mostly dark discoloration, which can be seen at smaller humps on the sides. The strong contrast leads to beautiful natural patterns and variety. In compare to our oak blocks, we recommend the Sycamore stools to be used only indoor.
